Chris has nearly 30 years of experience in mechanical and plumbing design and construction. He has worked on a range of project delivery methods including design-build, design-assist, and plan & spec construction. He has served as the principal design engineer and engineer of record on heartache(OSHPD), university building energy retrofits, campus central plants, microelectronics, biotech and pharmaceutical laboratories and manufacturing facilities, international airports, commercial office buildings, casinos, convention centers, libraries, hospitality, and K-12 schools.
Chris is passionate about sustainable design, serving on the board of the San Diego chapter of the USGBC as its regional representative for six years. Whether designing a new building or retrofit, he carefully works with the project team to evaluate all the building envelope options to reduce the overall size of the HVAC system. He then reviews system options while maintaining quality and budget control.
