  • Project Overview

    Zura Hall is a 141,000 SF student housing complex at San Diego State University. Needing a facelift to meet modern standards, the facility underwent renovations to improve the residential experience for students. Our Cx team provided LEED Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning services for Zura Hall, with the overall goal to achieve LEED Silver certification

  • Solution

    We provided phase reviews, construction phase testing and post occupancy services. The project scope included renovations to the building’s interior, exterior, individual dorm rooms, hallways and lobbies, mechanical and electrical systems and elevators. The building has three wings and is nine stories tall with spaces including dorms, lounges, study rooms, kitchens, laundry room and offices. Our team commissioned the HVAC system and controls, domestic hot water system, lighting controls and irrigation controls.
