Project Overview
P2S provided lighting design for CSULB’s renovation of the George Allen Sports Field. The new sports lighting is compliant with NCAA standards and covers three separate fields. We also designed a new 12KV transformer and 480V distribution section to support the new, high-intensity lighting and additional support lighting at a future softball field.
Solution
P2S lighting designers conducted a field investigation and photometric studies to identify the number of fixtures to meet NCAA illumination standards. They created a lighting plan showing fixture locations and designed site power infrastructure. The new lighting more than gets the job done, as CSULB athletes and sports fans can attest.
