Project Overview
P2S Cx is supporting Capistrano USD as they build a new K-8 school in Rancho Mission Viejo. We’re commissioning seven buildings totaling 94,768 SF at the new Esencia School. Opening in the Fall of 2018, the new school will have state-of the-art technology, a wealth of student resources and is within walking distance to nearby middle and high schools. The school is part of the new Esencia community, a second village in Rancho Mission Viejo which includes 2,700 homes and an apartment complex on 860-acres east of the first development, Sendero.

Solution
Our Cx team is providing all the commissioning requirements set forth in the 2013 California Energy Code, Title 24, Part 6. Our team is commissioning the building energy management (EMS) control systems, HVAC systems, indoor lighting controls, landscape irrigation systems, and domestic hot water heating systems. Our services will assure that the new school meets Title 24 standards and provides an unparalleled learning environment for students as soon as it opens.
