P2S Project Management Certification

Engineers who meet certain experience milestones are annually invited to participate in a 15-week Project Management Certification course. The weekly sessions are led by senior staff and follow the life-cycle of a project, covering topics like:

  • Contract, fee negotiation, scheduling ,progress tracking and quality assurance

During each collaborative session, engineers propose solutions to challenges from real project scenarios, gain invaluable project management skills.

P2S Internship Program

Internship Program

The P2S Internship Program is a paid internship designed for talented engineering students. Each intern is assigned to a specific group within the company and paired with a mentor who introduces them to our company culture. Interns work in the office, go into the field and visit P2S work sites.

Interns are assigned to real-world projects and collaborate with employees throughout the company.

Apply to 2018 P2S Internship Program!

The application period for the 2018 internship program begins in March. We’ll attend southern California college career fairs during the 2018 spring semester. This is a great way to connect with P2S staff, learn more about the program and drop off your resume. Interns typically start in late May and throughout June. If interested, we advise you to keep your resume updated, obtain a copy of your most recent transcripts and have referral letters ready. 

New Hires Program

The New Hires Program is a quarterly lecture series with interactive workshops designed to enhance the on-boarding experience. As new hire, you’ll get a platform to interact with colleagues and from senior company leaders.

You’ll also have the option of attending two joint Incubator/New Hires meetings during the program. You’ll also be invited to a special new hires mixer within the first month of starting. 

P2S Mentors

P2S Mentors volunteer their time to guide new hires through their first year at P2S. Mentors enhance the on-boarding experience by meeting with small groups of new hires monthly to share best practices, discuss company policies, and build relationships.

P2S mentors come from outside a new hire's normal working group. This is done to provide a neutral source to discuss questions or concerns from a broader perspective.
